Original cloth with pictorial spines of a native of Abyssinia with spear and shield. Volume 1 has 350pp. + 10pp. of publisher's ads; Volume 2 has 355pp. with 4pp. of publisher's ads. Frontispiece in each volume with tissue present, plus 6 plates in volume 1 and 4 plates in volume 2. Volume 1 has a dampstain on the top inner corner throughout, not affecting the text. Minor shelf wear, an attractive set.
